R&B/soul legend Ray Charles devoted himself to music for over six decades, scoring numerous pop, jazz, country, gospel, R&B, and soul hits — a list which includes legendary tunes like "Hallelujah I Love Her So," "A Bit of Soul," and "What'd I Say." The Genius' uniquely emotive vocals and vibrant live performances — along with his talents as an arranger, composer, and pianist — earned the Georgia native a slew of number one hits, twelve Grammys, and a dedicated fan base worldwide. With his passing in June of 2004, Ray Charles left an indelible mark on the face of pop, R&B, and soul music.
