“Its not just words on a page or notes being played, music is all about feelings” Is what South London soul singer, Raelle says about music. Entering the music industry just little over a year ago, Raelle started making soul music from her bedroom, Inspired by an eclectic mix of artists from Isaac Hayes to Beach House and Janis Joplin to Cleo Sol, with the simple goal of creating a sound that represented her, and share her experiences with the small hope someone might find a piece of themselves in her writing. Her lyrics transport you into her world, putting you in core of her most precious thoughts and memories, her warm vocals, gently soothe your ears, and her vocal harmony arrangements, wash over you, fully encapsulating you into her world of sweet classic soul. Although still a newcomer, she has already garnered the support from BBC 1xtra DJs such as Jamz Supernova, and DJ Target as well as BBC introducing. She has performed at notable venues such as The Jazz Café London, opening for The Real Thing, and festivals across the country. She was tipped for being on CLASHs next wave of artists as well as being supported by other notable outlets such as DUMMY Mag, and LinkUpTV. Her EP Wake up Sunshine, which was released independently, premiered on WORDPLAY mag, and garnered support from BBC radio 1xtra DJ Jamz Supernova."
