Phước Phật aka Stanford Reid is a Vietnam-based, Brooklyn native music artist, recording artist, singer, producer, studio engineer, and DJ. A lifelong musician, Stanford evolved his career in 2017 after touring in Southeast Asia, performing as a solo looping multi-instrumentalist, captivating audiences with every sound, chord, smooth bass-line, and mesmerizing sax solo looped live using his Boss: RC-30 and Korg: Electribe.

Stanford’s debut album was recorded in
New York City and featured Siesta Key’s own
BG Gomes and members of New Jersey-based Hiphop collective ETYC. He recorded his first ever HipHop song FlyAway in Da Nang, Vietnam. The track was produced by Vietnamese producer DNoise and featured @Hydro. The song and music video were received well in Vietnam and abroad.

Digital Space was Phước’s first full length Hiphop project and his first self produced album released June 2020. Shortly after, he released Original Signal in October 2020, on his 33rd birthday. As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, look forward to hearing new and improved stylings from Stanford Phật Phước Reid, who plans another world tour upon border reopenings. In the meantime he’s producing music from home and sharing vibes via the #PowerOurPlanet Podcast with cohost rapper Richard Rospel.
