Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips was jazz and classical piano player, bass trombonist and composer.
Born in Pittsfield, Mass., on April 29, 1941, died on Feb. 13, 2014.
Phillips studied piano and bass trombone at the Eastman School of Music. Throughout career conducted Broadway musicals, was a studio musician, and classical and jazz pianist. Worked with Kai Winding, Herbie Hancock, the Bernstein Mass, Liza Minnelli, Phillip Glass Ensemble.
