About this artist

Oz Patton is a visual and hip- hop artist based out of Aurora, Colorado. He began his career in 2008 when he began participating in the freestyle battle circuit, “Body Bags”, hosted by Body Bags president and CEO Matthew ‘Vothaface’ Voss. All the while working with Ivory Way Music, a start up featuring artist like Frontline, Young Menace, and Facts. He held his ground and made waves in the Flii Guyz with TB in the local Colorado Hip-hop Community.
In 2008 Oz began collaborating with many other Colorado artists
(including The Contenderz, Dreem, and Andrew Pike) leading to his participation in events and performances at venues such as Roxy, Cervantes, and Club Over There. By 2010 he had released his first mix tape, “Bad Influence”, featuring producer and artist Steven “High-tops” Klapp, and Tommie “TB” Brown and was given the opportunity to open for Colorado Hip-Hop vets Albert “Albeez” Cannon and Black Pegasus.

In 2010 Oz worked with RhapsoDee Entertainment, a company of dedicated and talented artists that were committed to community service specifically in regards to aiding at risk youth and promoting healing through the use of art. With his talents in visual arts and music Oz was able to contribute even more to an already dynamic team of individuals. Creating and facilitating workshops with Aurora Mental Health and Crossroads Alternative School in Thornton.
In 2012 he began working with the up and coming KMG Studios* in Colorado, where he is currently working with talented engineer and producer “Pumba” on his much anticipated mix tape titled “Ozone”.
Recently he has hosted an internet radioshow, #kgss Got Bars with Gridlock and Kid Nic, to help promote local and indie hiphop artist everywhere, which has recently evolved and changed host under Chayne Clouds. In more recent Oz has been putting together a graphic novel with another writer and creating more music to bring to you. Keep your minds open and evolve your sound with me.
