Omar Esa is an independent award-winning, chart topping International faith based singer/songwriter (nasheed artist) from the United Kingdom. He uses only his voice in all his nasheeds (songs) and sings in mainly the English language, in addition to the Urdu, Punjabi and Arabic languages. His songs are very versatile thanks to Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala), as he can write both contemporary and traditional sounding nasheeds (songs). As an internationally recognized nasheed artist, his success has allowed him to travel and perform in many countries including concerts and tours in America, South Africa, Australia, Dubai, Canada, Hong Kong, Norway, Sierra Leone, Qatar, Switzerland, Holland, Malaysia and Pakistan.

Omar Esa was previously an RnB/Pop singer in 2011 and was inspired to change his path to share the beauty of Islam with the world. His new journey began with a simple dream- to show the world the beauty of his religion Islam through his nasheeds (songs). Omar Esa is a strong advocate for voice only nasheeds (songs) and has coined the phrase

His debut album called 'Omar Esa' was released in November 2012. His 2nd album ‘My Muslim Family’ which released in June 2017 charted number 1 on the iTunes UK world album charts. His 3rd and most recent album 'Allah and His Beloved' which released on the 9th of April 2021 has done really well in the charts thanks to Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) alone. Despite being an independent artist without a marketing budget to promote the album and no radio play, he made history and became the first artist in his faith-based music genre of nasheeds to chart in a mainstream chart. The album was recognised by the official UK charting body, because from the charting week of 9th April 2021 to 16th April 2021, the album was the 4th most downloaded album in the whole of the United Kingdom, peaking at number 3 in the main iTunes chart. in addition to this it peaked at number 3 in the official iTunes mainstream chart here in the UK, it was number 1 in Saudi Arabia and Kenya on their main iTunes Charts respectively, it was number 1 on the world iTunes chart in America, Canada and UK. It also charted in the iTunes main chart in several countries around the world UAE (2), South Africa (5), Indonesia (8), Qatar (9), Oman (9). In the USA (peaked at 87 in there mainstream iTunes chart), Canada (Peaked at 50 in the mainstream iTunes chart) and in Australia it peaked at 39 in there mainstream iTunes chart

His singles ‘Tera Pyaar - Your Love’ (2018), ‘Nikah’ (Marriage) (2019), ‘Ya Allah’ (2020) and ‘Spiderman’ (2021) have all hit the number 1 spot on the iTunes UK world chart.

Omar Esa’s musical content is all about his faith Islam, ranging from nasheeds about his Master Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala), his prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahiwasallam) and ultimately sharing love and tranquility through his music. He regards his voice as a blessing from Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) and aims to use his nasheeds to forward the wonderful messages of peace, love and unity throughout the whole world In’shaa’Allah (Lord willing).
