NOOK Turner took the world by storm with inspiring, poignantly crafted, bold lyrics and an energetic performance style that captivated many audiences throughout the nation! He is a very accomplished artist on the Texas music scene. His collaboration with platinum artists Ying Yang Twins did great worldwide and his single “Put Ya Hustle 1st” with the late Dallas rapper MO3 and Miami’s queen of hip hop Trina is becoming an instant classic. He has also released popular songs with Texas legend DJ Michael “5000” Watts, Kstylis, Chalie Boy and Just Brittany (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta). NOOK Turner is an artist whose passion for greatness for himself and his community fires everything he does. He is the founder of J.O.I. Community Outreach, a non profit that produces Jump On It, Jump On It Radio & Jump On It University. Since 1997, Jump On It has been annually responsible for executing large community events, festivals and youth education. NOOK Turner is an executive member of the Black Austin Coalition, a community advocacy organization comprised of Austin’s leading black businesses and orgs, and is responsible for the passing of a city of Austin resolution that calls for the rectification & reconciliation of the systemic racism and mis-treatment of it’s Black residents. He has been mentioned in Billboard Magazine and named “Top 25 under 25 in America” by the Future 500 Magazine. His music and philanthropic work has been covered throughout the years on countless major media outlets.
