Since its debut in 1994, NOJO has distinguished itself with bold & innovative music. The band has received 5 JUNO nominations (Canada’s Grammy) & their debut won Best Contemporary Jazz Album.
The L.A. Times calls NOJO “one of the most imaginative large ensembles on the current jazz scene,” & guests include Joe Lovano, Ray Anderson, & especially Don Byron & Sam Rivers, who recorded with NOJO.
