NIMAR is a Hip-Hop/R&B artist who draws meaning from both lighthearted and heavy moods, rapping and singing about the tough love, desire, and his sense of being an outsider. He is the gifted product of three countries, and uses his multi-cultural perspective to create and tell unique stories that cross borders and resonate with his audience. This sought-after ability to use music in an effort to bridge boundaries sets NIMAR apart from other performers and brings a new, fresh voice to the music industry.

Though NIMAR is a native of the Inland Empire in Southern California, his most important influences come from his Lebanese father and Mexican mother. And at 6’7”, he’s not only a big presence, but a charismatic performer and creator, whose trilingual lyrics break into totally original territory.

Before California, NIMAR lived in Lebanon and Mexico, and pulls heavily from the deep well of musical styles of these countries. He chose the artist name “Nimar” after his grandfather, which means “tiger” in Arabic. Years into his career as a recording artist, El Tigre is still carving out a scene of his own, curating perfect vibes as he goes. He entered the scene with his 2016 mixtape “Taste the Stars” and is back to curate more vibes with his newest singles “100 Confessions” and “Running Shoes” which both recently featured on Gary Vee’s Instagram for up and coming artists, So keep an eye and an ear out for NIMAR, he is destined for greatness.
