New London Chamber Choir (NLCC) is a British contemporary vocal ensemble, founded by James Wood (4) in 1981. Matthew Hamilton serves as the musical director of NLCC since 2014. The choir has collaborated with Jonathan Harvey, Mauricio Kagel, György Kurtág, Toru Takemitsu, György Ligeti, Iannis Xenakis and other prominent composers (several of whom have written works for it), as well as many renowned new music groups, including Ensemble Intercontemporain, London Sinfonietta, Champ D'Action, Ictus (2), Amadinda Percussion Group, Rascher Saxophone Quartet, The Kreutzer Quartet, and Percussive Rotterdam. Pierre Boulez was a patron of NLCC from 1984 until his death.
