2018 was unexpectedly turbulent for Navvy, a break up with a long term boyfriend turned years of bliss into turmoil. This experience has now been documented in intense detail across three bop-strewn EPs and latest single Pieces by Navvy, the Auckland-raised singer-songwriter alternatively known as Phoebe Lee Jasper. This striking new talent emerged last year, just months after the sudden collapse of a four-year-relationship, with an EP titled The Breakup; by the end of the year she’d released the No Hard Feelings EP, and her deluge of fresh electronic pop now concludes with stunning new track Pieces, the lead single of a third EP, "The Final Pieces EP", coming September 4. “Overall I see it as a trilogy covering a particularly difficult part of my life,” she reflects. “And to be honest with you I’ve sort of released my first album without having the pressure of actually releasing my first album, which looks like it’s very stressful.”
