About this artist

Bursting on to the Pakistani pop scene in 2011 with Right way to fall, Natasha Humera Ejaz has been delivering her unique brand of mischief-music to the Pakistani listening community for over a decade. Jumping through genres, Natasha’s constant has always been to follow the music where it takes her. Infusing electronica, jazz, local and global folk music – Natasha is probably best described as eclectic-pop.

Spending the early parts of her career juggling a degree in music production in Kuala Lumpur, Natasha’s music always stood apart. Having lent her voice to international jingles such as Tiger-Beer and Tourism Malaysia, Natasha was the first Pakistani artist to perform as a lead vocalist with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra her graduating year. Upon returning to Pakistan, her on-stage presence as performer garnered her acclaim, with Natasha being the first female artist to represent Pakistan at the prestigious Telenor Cultural Prize Award Ceremony in 2016. Her work in 2018’s Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor and Cake garnered her both critical and commercial success, with Ejaz winning the 2019 Sepma Award for Best Playback Singer (Bol) for the latter. Her only studio EP to date, Till the end of time, earned her nominations in two-categories at the 2015 Lux Style Awards.
