Over the past two decades, MICCA has embarked on a fascinating journey through the world of electronic music under various pseudonyms. His passion began in the dark, pulsating warehouse nights of the 90s, when he absorbed the first beats of acid house and rave music. But his musical journey was to go far beyond these beginnings.
Unlike many other DJs, Micca does not define himself by a particular sound. Instead, he loves to combine different styles into a new whole. This includes elements of house, techno, electro, acid or even beats & breaks. The excitement of his sets comes from the transitions between genres and subgenres, and he often plays with the deliberate contrast between new and old tunes while DJing.
He is fascinated by the magical moment when he mixes two records together for the first time and something unexpected and completely new is created. When he doesn't have vinyl with him, it feels like something is missing - playing records creates a special vibe for him: you give up some of the control.
