About this artist

Techno / Minimal DJ producer based in Germany

Massive Moloko is a DJ and producer, sewing the threads of techno and minimal on the peak hours of clubnights. In his sets he builds from techno, minimal and electronic elements mostly, while his own compositions are based on dynamic techno basslines with hypnotic sounding, spiced with a few, but powerful synths. As DJ Savage, he performs since 1998, but he debuted as Massive Moloko in 2014 at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival. In 2018, he had a track released at Digital Structures and a remix on vinyl already, and many more are underway at labels like Dark Face Recordings, Phobos Records, Little Helpers and Digital Structures. In 2017, in January, a 6-track EP was released by Little Helpers as a collaboration with Milos Pesovic. All of the tracks made their way to Beatport Minimal TOP100, the best one finished at 14th. One of the tracks was played by Dubfire b2b Oliver Huntemann at BPM Festival, another was part of Christian Smith's Tronic Podcast. After this, he had an EP released at ENTER Music, one of the tracks was included in Federico Gardenghi's mix. In April, 2 remixes were released at Phobos Records, collab with Zoltan Stadler. The release jumped immediately to the Beatport Minimal TOP100 and climbed to the 63. position. In the summer of 2017, he had tracks released at Digital Structures, Phobos Records, and Carbon Black Label. He closed 2017 with 2 gigs in Austria and Germany and retreated to the studio for the winter to work on his new releases. In 2016, he played again in Sisyphos, in the summer he performed at O.Z.O.R.A and SZIN Festival (video) alongside many other parties. In August, his guest mix was featured in Alex Preda’s +1 Podcast at DI.fm. He started September with the release of ‘Fabric’ at RPO Records, including a remix by Rick Pier O’Neil, then later this month he was Fine Beats’ guest DJ at radiOzora. In November, his track ‘Spiritual’ went live at Dark Face Recordings, featuring remixes by Gaga and Mateo! This release finished at TOP11 in Minimal category at Beatport. In 2015, he performed again at O.Z.O.R.A., then he introduced himself to Berlin in the Sisyphos Club. In October, he was the guest DJ of the monthly Baroque Podcast in Frisky Radio.
