British jazz horn player, teacher and author. Born in Hull, England in 1955.
Martin has been a profesional musician since 1982. He was a session trumpet player and vocalist in the London area.
In 2018, he wrote the first of five books in the George Melville Mystery series while working full-time as head of music for a college in Hull, England where he lives.
