Lyric Croft

My name is Janae, but my stage name is Lyric Croft. I am a 27 year old lesbian female hip hop artist born and raised in Colorado. I have been writing since I was 13 but 7 years ago I really started focusing on music and recording. I try to make music that people can really feel and concepts that people can easily identify with. I focus on making the lyrics stand out through metaphors and witty punch lines in my verses with catchy but not corny hooks that can easily get stuck in your head. Some of my biggest influences in the growing up were TLC, Destiny'sChild, Missy Elliott, MC Lyte, Biggie etc. Now a days some of my favorites artist are Drake, Jinsu, Dizzy Wright, King Los, Mark Battles, AP, Trev Rich and Pries.
