b. Sweden. Swedish soul singer Lizzie earned immediate comparisons to Kate Bush with her sultry debut single ‘Impossible’. Released by MNW Records in 1993, it was not her first attempt to make a career in the music industry. In the mid-80s she had sung with Houses And Gardens - a briefly successful band noted for its exuberant live performances. She was also previously half of the Master Twins duo, who worked with some of London’s top producers.
