About this artist
Lena Susanne Norin is a contralto from Sweden. She studied the songs of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and baroque with René Jacobs and Dominique Vellard at the Schola Cantorum in Basel, where she then taught from 1986-89. Norin has performed with Sequentia, the Ferrara Ensemble, La Chapelle Royale, Rheinische Kantorei, Ensemble Gilles Binchois, Musica Antiqua, Cantus Köln Akademie für Alte Musik, Berlin and René Jacobs.
