Lean Savage's passion for music started at the age of 7, and he has explored various genres, including Zim dancehall, Kasi rap, hip-hop/rap, and country. He was inspired by artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTENTACION, and Juice WRLD, and began writing his own lyrics and producing his own music.
In 2023, Lean Savage founded his record label, Leanshake Records LLC, and released his debut single, "Stop Lying to Me," on December 22, 2023. The song gained local attention and paved the way for his subsequent releases.
