Lavaud

Estelle Lavaud, 21 known as ‘Lavaud’ is a British singer-songwriter from Hackney, London. Lavaud’s family heritage comes from the island nation of Mauritius, a diverse background she credits much of her early musical development too.

Lavaud’s debut single ‘Deep’ is scheduled for a Summer 2016 release, showcasing her sultry-power vocals alongside a rhythmic guitar driven composition. Lavaud has been identified as ‘One to Watch 2016’ by the UK MOBO’s unsigned committee.

“I grew up surrounded by music of all genres. My father is my biggest influence, he is an amazing musician and I was exposed to so much learning from him. I listened to Sega, a traditional Mauritian sound, also influenced by greats like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Bob Marley and Beyonce”.
