I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica in a christian home. Apart from God who is my main source of inspiration and motivation, I also give credit to my elder brother(Jigsaw) who is now deceased. May his soul rest in peace. When I was a teenager he owned and operated a recording studio where various Jamaican entertainers recorded dub plates and jingles for disc jockeys and sound systems. After school I would make my way there and just watch and learn from these entertainers such as Baby Wayne and many others and that was when and where I first believed in myself and thought that I could deliver. I picked up the microphone then and there and instantly fell in love with making music. My brother saw the talent and potential and encouraged me to continue until I wrote my first song at the age of 16 entitled 'Mrs Gorgeous". Ever since then I have always loved music and kept on writing and recording all these years even though I know I could have done more with my time but nonetheless I believe the time is now. Time is of the essence and I always strive for excellence. My high school motto is "Whatever you do do it well' so I strive to put my best effort in whatever I do. People have always said that my music has a message and being a child of God it is my mission and aim to use my talent to convey positive and uplifting messages through my music not only to entertain and excite the listener but more importantly to educate and edify my brothers and sisters. Like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff and many other great Jamaican icons that have paved the way, I would like to leave a legacy like them, so that my children and grandchildren can enjoy the rewards of my handwork and labor and never be ashamed of any material I have released but be proud of what I left behind . Its not all about the financial rewards that come with musical success that drives me but moreover the love and passion I have for just composing, recording, performing and sharing my material with the world. Music is such a strong and powerful influential instrument used and abused by many but if used in a positive way it has the ability to bring love, joy, peace, laughter, happiness and fun to a cruel, greedy, self-centered, crooked and dying world. One love, One heart, give thanks and praise to the Lord as we all get together and feel alright.
