Justin Nozuka’s career spans gold-certified, Billboard-charting albums, JUNO nominations, and world tours. Known for his soulful, genre-blending sound, he’s released several acclaimed records, including Holly and You I Wind Land and Sea – the latter debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

In 2024, he released CHLORINE, a bold step into alternative territory, followed by a 30-date North American and European tour. Appearances on COLORS, Mahogany Sessions, and On The Radar Radio further expanded his reach, spotlighting his raw, stripped-down performance style.

Now, Justin is leaning into a sound that feels wholly his own with the Kanji series – a conceptual project that fuses his singer-songwriter roots with a minimal, alternative edge. The first EP, 一 (“Ichi”), released in February 2025, was recorded largely in single takes from his home studio and iPhone. It marks both the start of the series and a new chapter in Justin’s evolving sound – an intimate, unfiltered approach that reflects his artistic instincts.
