Sobre esse artista

California-born artist Juju aka Neil Zarama started his DJ career as a dancehall DJ in 1992. Soon he had his first DJ residency in San Francisco at the first drum'n'bass club called "The Jungle" in 1994. By 1996 he became a co-founder of the Phunckateck collective. He also held residencies in Hong Kong, Venezuela and his own weekly club “Phuturo” which ran for 10 years in the Lower Height District of San Francisco. By the mid 2000s, Juju had been signed by several top UK Labels and also had founded 3 of his own record labels running out of his Phuturo music studio in San Francisco.
He was one of the leading American drum and bass artists touring extensively worldwide and the Phuturo weekly Club in San Francisco ran for 10 years straight, seeing hundreds of top global artists throughout the years.
He retired from music around 2010, not before leaving his mark during the early years of Dubstep with collaborations with Don Carlos (Black Uhuru) from Jamaica on his imprint Narco Hz.

Neil Zarama is currently a Senior UX Producer still living in San Francisco building old motorcycles as hobby.
