JollyJ is a DJ/Producer from Miami, Florida, where his cheerful personality emanates throughout his music. Based in one of the biggest dance music hubs on the planet, he learned about music at an early age through his older brother, an avid listener of electronic music for decades. Through him, he learned to appreciate all forms of dance music, which allowed him to venture deeper into the world of house music. Although he only hit the scene at the end of 2018, he has produced music for over 5 years. He derives much of his sound from the Miami underground scene and it gives many of his tracks and mixes that unique Latin flavor. This in turn also lets him explore his broad love of music, from disco to techno and everything in between.

Two of JollyJ’s releases resonated well with the world these past few months. The first was personally chosen by house music legend, Erick Morillo, for his "Subliminal Miami 2020" Compilation. "Eyyah" is an instant body shaker that hits the dance floor with a deep jungle like bassline, and an infectious vox that lends to the dark rhythm. Played all over the world by Morillo himself, it gained the support and attention of many top artists, and captured the audiences need for a deeper sound. The Second, “Stalker”, was released on Deep Tech Los Angeles Records and gained the support of many top tech house heavy weights including Mark knight, Riva Starr, D.O.D, Versus (USA), Redux Saints, and many more. With a low-slung sound and frazzled synths, this powerful groove proved to be exactly what the artists and fans wanted. These songs are a testament to his unique range of productions, skills, and quality, all of which he has established for himself over the last couple of years.

JollyJ has reached the Beatport top 100 releases numerous times with his wide range of tracks. His span of high-caliber productions and signing to labels such as Subliminal, DTLA, Wyldcard, Good For You, and Vamos have helped him reach where he is today. His music and mixes, along with the support from artists and fans all over the globe, show why he has grown quickly at the international level in so little time.
