J.B.O. was formed in 1989 by Hannes "G. Laber" Holzmann and Vito C. in Erlangen (Germany) as "James Blast Orchester".
Due to problems with the lawyers of well-known German entertainer James Last, they had to stop using that name in 1996.

Ralph Bach (bass guitar)
Wolfram Kellner (drums) alias "Wölli"
Former band members:
Thomas "Schmitti" Schmitt (bass guitar) and Holmer "A Bier" Graap (drums). Both left J.B.O. in 2000.
