Jarvis

Sixteen-year-old hip-hop prodigy Jarvis started making the radio playlist rounds with his aptly titled debut single, "Radio" in 2004. The Atlanta native had been making a mark for himself on the local scene and had a record out on the independent label, Tricycle Records, when the people at Jive offered to distribute his next single. If major label distribution wasn't enough, hip-hop/R&B impresario, Jermaine Dupri even offered to bring Jarvis around to radio stations and retail stores to promote the record.
