Contemporary jazz string trio, J.A.M. String Collective bring improvising strings to the fore. The trio weaves songlike melodies into open group improvisations, creating spontaneous filmic textures, injected with a solid dose of groove and the Blues. Occupying a fluid space between jazz and contemporary sound worlds, taking influence from Caroline Shaw, Charles Mingus, ATOM String Quartet.
