About this artist

HabooDubz (Gabor Molnar / 40) (originally from Budapest, Hungary)
ELECTRONIC BASS MUSIC PRODUCER (dub, digital, stepper, psy dub, hip-hop, glitch, dubstep, reggae, drum and bass, ragga jungle, electronica, chill, folktronica, breakbeat, nu skool breakz and etc...)

I was about 10 years old when I started interesting in electronic music.
When I was 12-13 as a skater, used to listen punk, hardcore, reggae and rap musics.
In my teenager years used to go out to Hip-Hop events and smaller Punk gigs.
I wrote my first verses when I was about 16, then I started visiting Drum and Bass events in Budapest.
Those antisocial sounds made me extremely excited and enthusiastic, so immediately started writing faster verses on these rhythms.
I met Kontrol Art Del crew in 1998. They were the first MC's in Hungary who were rapping on DnB and after a little while I joined them.
I became member of the first Hungarian DnB Label, called Subscope Records after couple of years as MC.
I was very interested in composing musics, so I started composing them as well, like HipHop, DnB and New Skool Breaks.
After couple of years I joined to the crew called Gimmeshot as MC, and later also as Producer.
We organised proper underground events with Dj's, MC's and Producers, B-Boys occasionally with some live musicians as well.
The Gimmeshot party serial became the most popular and busiest Underground HipHop-Dancehall-Reggae event in Budapest around 2004 - 2005 supplemented by break dancers and graffiti artists. We also invited famous artists from abroad and toured them around.
I left Hungary in about end of 2006 and I moved to the UK.
First to East England then to Manchester where I was able to play my live acts at different clubs and the scene supported me very much.
Dub music caught me very quickly and I tried to use my imagination with the new sounds.
My productions had been supplemented by also Dubstep. Then I moved to London and continued building my carrier.
In those years, I made and released many remixes, some musics for short movies and instrumentals for different rappers and singers.
I moved to Cambodia in 2012 and tried to continue my life in an absolutely different environment. Further on my french mate, called MC Kaztet Dee also moved to Cambodia and founded Wat a Gwaan that we call Phnom Penh's first Reggae Sound System. Wat a Gwaan spreads Reggae, Dub, DnB and other Bass musics in Cambodia and all over South East Asia.
Few years later I returned to Hungary to push the real Sound System Culture with the Dub Phase Sound System. It was the first builded Sound System in Hungary.
I usually spend the summer in Europe and play at non-commercial festivals and events such as Ozora Festival, Samsara, S.U.N., Bass Camp and etc…
Dan Dada Records released my first EP (Fried Rize Dubz Vol.1) in 2014 and a year later the LP, Fried Rize Dubz Vol.2
I moved to Mexico in 2015 autumn and traveled around while I was representing my sounds. I released Fried Rize Dubz Vol.3 as the last release of Dan Dada Records in December 2016.
After travelling a lot in Mexico decided to release an LP, called “Aventuras en Mexico” that has been released by Culture Dub Records in July, 2017.
Currently working on the new album “Multicultural” that will be released in the spring of 2018.
