Gulzar

Gulzar an Indian poet/lyricist, who writes in Urdu, Punjabi and several other Hindi dialects. He was born Sampooran Singh Kalra on 18 August 1936 in Dina, Jhelum District, Punjab, British India (now a province of Pakistan). He adopted the pen name Gulzar when he became an author. Gulzar has collaborated with , , and other music directors in Bollywood. He is married to Bollywood actress .
