Meek's musical journey started with a string of successes in various bands, garnering support from the likes of Huw Stephens, Shell Zenner & BBC Introducing. However in 2017, Georgia took the step to launch her solo project. Last year, she rapidly made an impact with fans and the industry alike. Her critically acclaimed single ‘Bare’ clocked over 18,000 streams overnight, before rising to 350,000 listens since then. She’s been featured by the likes of Clash Magazine, Stylist Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, Missguided and plenty more.
In 2019, Meek once again caught the attention of British music fans with her new EP, Pop Culture, after two of the tracks (When You’re Sober & Bones) scored some of the most anticipated moments on ITV2’s Love Island. After being picked up on by the show, the young Londoner’s EP has climbed to over 100,000 streams across platforms since its release in November.
