Elżbieta Sikora (20 Oct 1943, Lwów, Poland) is a Polish composer who graduated in sound engineering from the Warsaw Academy. She completed her studies in electronic music with Pierre Schaeffer and François Bayle in Paris (1968–72) and studied computer music with John Chowning at Stanford University. Between 1972 and 1974, back in Warsaw, she was a composition pupil of Tadeusz Baird and Zbigniew Rudziński. Together with Krzysztof Knittel and Wojciech Michniewski, in 1973 she founded the KEW collective.
In 1981 she moved to France, and in 1985 was appointed to teach electro-acoustic music at the Conservatoire national de région in Angoulême. She has created pieces at the Groupe de recherches musicales (GRM), at IRCAM and for Radio France.
