Hailing from the tiny island of Antigua, E-Kon is small-town island boy with big dreams of inspiring people all over the globe in a major way with his unique style of rap and hip-hop music.


After going through a tough family loss at the age of 14, E-Kon found refuge in musical expression. His music depends on his mood, and like him, is always unapologetically honest and sincere – most times coming from the fulfillment of euphoria derived from everything life has to offer, but other times, coming from a deep place, reflecting on the pain of grieving at a young age and coping with the realities of self- doubt.


Growing up in Antigua, which is more musically known for its soca and calypso exploits, E-Kon has quickly charted a new path for himself in Antigua’s music sphere. His first studio album “20GrindTeen” deservedly gained local popularity and global traction. As a fan of a wide range of sounds who grew up in a very musical household, his favorites range from Vybz Kartel to Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Smino & Big Sean. This expansive musical preference is also reflected in his own musical creations


E-Kon intends to reach for the stars for years to come with his second studio album “Brown Baby” released earlier in May 2021. The 14-track project is packed with records that will has people talking and moving and building on his combined 80,000 streams, paving the way for what his fans believe will be a successful career that will show the world that small islands pack a punch.
