Originally born and raised in the nation's capital of Canada, Erik Njolstad developed a love for music at a very young age and has had a keen interest in creating music at the age of 12. He started his musical journey in video game production with a lot of his compositions sounding melodic. He also had an admiration and inspiration of notable video game composers such as Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Hikori Kikuta, Konji Kodo, TAM, and many more.

He then later discovered a love for electronic music and appreciated the art that is involved behind making "quirky, innovative and moving sounds". His inspiration stems from electronic artists such as Kenichiro Fukui, The Art of Noise, Daft Punk, Benny Benassi, Chemical Brothers, Chicaine, Kaskade, deadmau5, Skrillex, Disclosure and the list goes on. With releases on record labels such as Trippy Code, Rollerblaster Records and Electronic Music Alliance, he continues to push the boundaries of his musical endeavour in the hopes of enabling self-healing and helping others finding their own inspiration from the music he writes.
