Dutch electronic duo Droeloe emerged in 2016, pairing a bright and percussive future bass sound with an emphasis on visual aesthetics. Comprised of producer Vincent Rooijers and visual designer Hein Hamers, Droeloe caught the ear of fellow Dutch producer San Holo, who signed them to his own Bitbird label, where they made their mark with singles like “Make My Day” and “zZz.” A steady stream of remixes and singles followed over the next year, including collaborations with Belle Doron (“In Time”), San Holo (“Lines of the Broken”), and Nevve (“Jump”). Their EP, A Moment in Time, arrived in 2017, followed by additional singles “Kintsugi” and “Running Away.” In 2018, the pair issued a slew of singles including “Backbone” with Nevve, “Many Words,” and “Facing the Sea” with Sem. ~ Timothy Monger
