Sobre este artista

Dominik Eulberg is a highly prolific, accomplished experimental techno producer and DJ from Germany. His productions are usually quite intricate and detailed, filled with unexpected shifts and sounds, as well as rich, emotive melodies. Eulberg is equally passionate about nature and music — he’s even worked as a park ranger — and his track titles and album artwork reference various animals (particularly birds) and plants. One of the key artists of Cologne’s esteemed Traum Schallplatten, he’s released several albums and singles through the label, including 2004′s Flora & Fauna, additionally surfacing on others such as Cocoon (2007′s Bionik) and !K7 (2019′s Mannigfaltig).
He made his debut in late 2003 with the single “Der Hecht Im Karpfenteich,” issued by Traum Schallplatten. The label released his full-length debut, Flora & Fauna, the following year, and numerous singles appeared on Traum as well as labels like Raum Musik, Trapez, and Ware. Eulberg also began releasing singles on Platzhirsch Schallplatten under the pseudonym Rocco Branco. Eulberg’s double-mix CD Kreucht & Fleucht was released by Mischwald in 2005, to critical acclaim. Eulberg’s second full-length, 2007′s Heimische Gefilde, collected several previously released singles along with brief spoken interludes in the vein of an educational film about nature. Later in the year, Eulberg released another full-length, Bionik, on Sven Väth’s Cocoon Recordings. Following several additional 12”s, Eulberg’s fourth full-length, Diorama, was issued by Traum in 2011. He continued releasing singles on Traum, Cocoon, and Herzblut, including some of his most epic productions to date, such as 2013′s “Opel Tantra.” Eulberg mixed the first disc of SonneMondSterne.X8, a split-mix CD with Animal Trainer, issued by Kontor Records in 2014. A Little Further, a co-production with Extrawelt, appeared the same year. Following solo EPs such as Spülsaum and Falkenauge, Katzengold & Taubenblut, a collaborative 12” with Essáy titled Dream Machine appeared in 2017, the same year Eulberg launched his Apus Apus imprint with the release of his Bienenfresser & Blauracke single. He released two other singles on Apus Apus in 2018, and his fifth album, Mannigfaltig, arrived on !K7 in 2019. ~ Paul Simpson
