Since 2000 Jesaya is standing behind the wheels of steel. Although he started mixing with the age of twenty, he’s one of the most booked and most famous DJs in Zurich and its environment. He’s not just mixing beats and moving the crowd in all the reputable clubs, he is also regularly engaged to support international topacts. The native-born Congolese is the classic Party-DJ, who has his qualities on one hand in his musicality, but on the other hand he’s also technically able to keep up with every other DJ. Beside his club-gigs and his support for many Live-Acts, DJ Jesaya is also acting in uncountable projects and collabos. So he has founded the rap formation “Bilingue” and is also playing a part in the crew “Le Déclique”. They’re both part of the “BM Clan”, which among other things releases the annual outcoming and very famous Sampler “CH (2005)” with hip hop artists from all the corners of Switzerland. Moreover, Jesaya is the main DJ of “The Wolves”, a hip hop combo from St. Gallen, which already has done tracks with Krumb Snatcha (USA) from the Gang Starr Foundation or Heltah Skeltah (USA) and now has signed a deal with “Eisbrand”. The fact, that DJ Jesaya is one of the most populated DJs in our region, has paved the way for his collaboration with the American Rapper Main Flow. First, Main Flow wanted him to be his tour-dj, what worked at best, cause the duo harmonized perfectly. It became a close collaboration between the twos and the Mix CD “The Flowfessionals” was the first visible result: DJ Jesaya was the first Swiss DJ, who mixed a whole album for an American label, namely the label “Wannabattle.com”, which has been founded by Main Flow. The CD was sold all over the world and was a complete success. But this isn’t everything, it also has to be mentioned, that DJ Jesaya is always ready to give newcomers a platform. This was demonstrated with the CD “Street Skills”. Almost eight months of work was behind this project, which he initiated with DJ Mikesteez. It became a product, which never had existed in Switzerland before: About thirty hip hop artists, thereunder confessed wordplayers as well as numerous bloody young newcomers, show theirs skills on 28 exclusive tracks. All the tracks are clearly mixed by DJ Jesaya und DJ Mikesteez. Furthermore he also started producing beats, from which he already disposed some. Jesaya’s newest project is not less ambitious: In the early year of 2007 he wants to bring out a Mix-CD, which only includes American exclusive tracks on it. He already has some well-known people’s consent to realize this unprecedented project.
