Diego & Victor Hugo

The year 2009 was decisive for both of them. It was when Diego moved his suitcase and guitar to Uberlândia and they participated as a duo in musical events and even won a country music competition. The compound name Diego & Victor Hugo appeared with more force and the bars improved their stage chemistry. In the car, Victor Hugo listened to his influences, but when proposals for songs from others to record came to them, they couldn't see themselves there. He then decided to move from theory to practice and started writing. The songs began to resonate, but before they did so in their voices as a duo, they appeared as hits in the repertoire of other artists who saw all the melodic talent deposited there. They recorded an EP of five songs, and one of the compositions began to be contested by other artists, including the late Cristiano Araujo, until Henrique & Juliano recorded “Calafrio”. The song and the duo's name exploded in the country music universe. They were no longer the successful duo in the traditional city of Triângulo Mineiro, but in Brazil. Their name started to spread and over the last seven years their success has grown in songwriting credits. Jads & Jadson recorded “Correndo Risco”, Matheus & Kauan recorded “Se Entrega”, among others, Simone & Simaria recorded “Amor Mal Resolvido”, Bruno & Marrone and even Wesley Safadão recorded their songs. All this to say that there is no guarantee of collaborations for nothing, they are a musical reality from the first step.
