Although dePresno is a name that derives from Spain, the singer/songwriter dePresno is only 7% Spanish. He is born and raised in Bergen, a city that has raised great artists like AURORA, Röyksopp, Kings Of Convenience and Datarock.

For his fourth birthday, dePresno received a guitar from his parents. After getting a lot of musical influence from his parents in the form of Cohen, Dylan and Bob Marley, he picked up the guitar. At 17 year old dePresno receives a new gift. His brother spent his savings to give him a day in a recording studio. The producer was blown away by dePresno’s talent and is now his manager.

Selv om navnet kommer fra Spania er de Presno kun 7% spansk. Og 93% fra Sandviken i Bergen.
Som barn fikk dePresno en gitar i gave fra sine foreldre som stadig snurret vinylspilleren med Cohen, Dylan og Bob Marley.
Gitaren ble en god venn, og 17 år gammel fikk dePresno en ny gave. Hans bror hadde kjøpt nok studiotid til å spille inn en sang.

dePresno hadde aldri vært i et studio før, men han møtte opp med godt humør og blåste produsenten av banen med en versjon av Donovans «Catch the wind».
