About this artist
On the cusp becoming one of New Zealand's more successful metal bands in the early-mid 90s, even appearing live on Nightline (a popular late-night TV show), Daemon instead split over creative differences, leaving guitarist Xanataph as the only original member. He kept the name alive, hired and fired new band members, and took the band in his own direction: more and more towards black metal. Formed in 1992; the band is no longer active.
