The artistic moniker of Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Corinne Savage, Corook emerged in 2021 with the humorous and insightful alt-pop confection “Sims,” which appeared on her debut EP, 2022′s Achoo.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Savage spent her formative years honing her craft at a performing arts high school and, later on, Berklee College of Music. After relocating to Nashville in her early twenties, she began posting snippets of her songs on social media. Her official debut, 2021′s “Sims,” garnered millions of streams and caught the attention of Atlantic, which enthusiastically added her to its roster. More singles followed, including the streaming hits “IDK God” and “Bad Friend,” with all three tracks appearing on her first EP, Achoo, in 2022. Savage capitalized on the success of the EP with two more singles, “BDSM and “It’s OK!,” which arrived later that year. ~ James Christopher Monger
