Midlands, U.K.-based extreme metal band Conjurer take a vigorous approach to crafting crushing music, pushing the sound in new directions at every opportunity.
The band formed when friends Brady Deeprose (guitar, vocals) and Dan Nightingale (guitar, vocals) were growing tired of their respective metalcore groups, deciding instead to join forces and pursue more extreme forms of metal. They quickly enlisted Jan Krause (drums) and Conor Marshall (bass) to form Conjurer. After making a splash on the live scene, they were snapped up by Holy Roar Records, going on to release their debut EP, I, in 2016. They recorded the EP in a relatively small amount of time, giving it a sense of urgency. However, for their debut full-length, 2019′s Mire, they took their time honing the sound for a more polished listening experience. ~ Liam Martin
