Australian born, singer-songwriter and recording artist, Cat Thompson is an all-round performer who loves to sing, dance and share her passion for music and storytelling. As a child, Cat Thompson enjoyed singing and playing piano as well as writing poetry. By combining these passions, she discovered her love for songwriting.

Over the years Cat Thompson developed her skills in songwriting and performance. She has toured in the Solomon Islands, performed throughout Australia, and has opened concerts for major international acts including American rapper Eve, RnB singer Lloyd and American dance act The Jabbawockeez as well as Philippine superstars Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza. She was the international judge for the Solomon Islands Grand Finals for World Supremacy Battlegrounds.

As a songwriter, Cat Thompson works with artists and DJs from different parts of the world and her music has received radio play in over thirty countries. She was a songwriter for “Asia’s Nightingale” Lani Misalucha’s latest album, Force Called Woman, which was released by Universal Production Music.

Cat Thompson wrote and released two EDM singles with Netherland’s artist Melandru titled Don’t Fall In Love and All I Need as well as co-releasing a single titled Be Free with Australian based DJ and saxophone duo SaxBeatz. The song features American rapper Kev Hannibal.

She writes and records in her own recording studio which she built on a farm in the beautiful beach side town of Byron Bay, Australia. She is signed to American music management company Progressive Artist Management.

Cat Thompson’s single, Who You Gonna Call, made America’s NashVegas Radio Top 30 and AMR Australia's Top 50 for 2021. Her interview with American TV show, SideWalks Entertainment, as well as the music video for Who You Gonna Call aired nationally on TV channels in the United States.
