Carol Vaness

American lyric soprano (born July 27th, 1952 in San Diego).
She launched her professional career in 1977 with the San Francisco Opera. She made her The Metropolitan Opera debut in 1984 and has sung at many of the major opera houses of Europe. Also she teaches music at the Indiana University.
