Bollebof

Dutch-Cape Verdean musician, songwriter, actor and model from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Born as Eder Almeida Vieira in Ribeira Brava (São Nicolau), Cape Verde, and raised in Delft (South Hollland), the Netherlands. Eder first made a name for himself as a street footballer, having played on various playgrounds, he began recording music in nearby Rotterdam-West, relocating to the port city and assuming the name Bollebof.


In 2011 Bollebof released his first solo effort on ZJ Records having previously worked with the likes of Gers Pardoel, Keizer, Lange Frans and Gio (3), his album included hit singles (Mijn Nummer 1 / Swagg Out / Het heeft geen zin / Als je van mij was). In the Summer of 2011 he released his EP ‘Airline Bof’ which was downloaded over 100.000 times from the FunX.nl website, making the download record for that site. His second EP “Dreams” was released in 2013, which at the time was a lifestyle group which included professional footballers Eljero Elia and Memphis Depay. The EP featured artists such as Ali B, Lange Frans, Kleine Viezerik and Gio.
