About this artist

Bethel Music is a Christian praise & worship collective in Redding, California. Based at the charismatic Bethel Church under the ministry of Bill Johnson, the group is part church, part publishing house, part label, and home to singers, groups, musicians, and songwriters like Brian & Jenn Johnson, Jeremy Riddle, Steffany Gretzinger, William Matthews, and many others. Since emerging in 2001, Bethel Music has released numerous collections of musical praise & worship gatherings, including CCM chart-toppers like You Make Me Brave, Starlight, Homecoming, and Simple.
The group’s early highlights include 2012′s The Loft Sessions, which was recorded live in a refurbished loft over several nights of worship sessions, and 2014′s You Make Me Brave: Live at the Civic, which became their highest-charting album to that point by hitting number ten on the Billboard 200. Sony took note and began releasing their works with 2015′s Come Alive and 2016′s Have It All, which was recorded live during weekend services at Bethel Church. In 2017, Bethel Music released another live recording, Starlight, that was their first to be recorded on tour. In 2018, they issued another Bethel first: Moments: Mighty Sound, which was recorded live and unscripted. Debuting in the Billboard 200, the set featured worship favorites performed by collective members Amanda Cook, Brian & Jenn Johnson, and more. 2019 saw the release of Victory. Inspired in part by Jaxon Taylor (son of Bethel Music CEO Joel Taylor) and his recovery from hemolytic-uremic syndrome, the LP featured inspirational pieces by a host of stalwart Bethel Music members, including Melissa Helser, Sean Feucht, Emmy Rose, Brian Johnson, Paul and Hannah McClure, and Hunter GK Thompson. Later that year, the crew issued the Spanish-language Bethel Music en Espanol and the instrumental Without Words: Genesis, the third in that series.
In 2020, the collective kicked off the decade with their second official studio album, Peace. The set showcased worship leaders Cory Asbury, Jonathan David & Melissa Helser, and many more. Upon release, the LP debuted within the Top 100 on the Billboard 200 and was followed by the live effort Revival's in the Air. 2021 saw the release of the concert LP Homecoming, with the studio album Simple arriving the following year. ~ Steve Leggett & Marcy Donelson
