Ben Browning

About this artist

Australian singer, songwriter, and DJ Ben Browning was active in the Melbourne scene with synth group Damn Arms before becoming the bassist for indie electronic heroes Cut Copy in 2008. He made his debut as a solo artist in 2012 with the five-song Lover Motion EP, which blended sunny disco grooves and colorful synth pop. Following that release, Browning resumed work with Cut Copy, who released their fourth album, Free Your Mind, in 2013. He eventually relocated to America, where he began DJ’ing and recording his first album from his new home base of Washington, D.C. His debut full-length, Turns, was released in June 2015 on American indie Yellow Year. ~ Timothy Monger
