B Young

Known for his eclectic sound and broad range of influences, B Young is a rapper from Hackney, East London who made his appearance on the scene in 2017 with the single “Been Wavey.” With inspirations ranging from dancehall to Afrobeat, his diverse taste along with his skill in music production ultimately developed into smooth, summer-laden hip-hop. He spent some years working as a sound engineer in London before deciding to put out some of his own material. After the release of “Been Wavey,” he returned in early 2018 with his most definitive track, “Jumanji,” which led to a label deal with Columbia Records. He followed up with his third single release, “079Me” later that summer and set out on a nationwide tour that November. ~ Rob Wacey
