With music comes luck and opportunity; that is until you describe B.Thompson’s journey into music, which is a classic case of fate. As a singer/songwriter/vocal arranger, B. Thompson introduces himself with the drive and determination to be considered one of the greatest of his time. Equipped with a soulful, melodic voice, the mind of a poet, and work ethics few possess, B. THOMPSON is determined to make his impact in the music industry.

Music wasn’t always B. Thompson main focus. Growing up in Las Vegas, a once sports-driven Thompson had the goal of becoming a professional football player. It wasn’t until the age of 14 that Thompson discovered his niche in music. After receiving a positive response following a solo in his school choir, Thompson decided to take on music. Thompson participated in various talent shows, creating a buzz for himself in the Las Vegas area. While performing and recording, Thompson was introduced to the world of literature. Studying the likes of classic American poets, Thompson realized he possessed an equal passion for songwriting. Thompson, once an aggressive athlete, had made the decision to make music his primary focus in life.

Already having shared the stage with some of music’s greatest artists, including Earth, Wind, and Fire, Smokey Robinson, Lady Gaga, Brandy and Jon B., Thompson labels some of music’s heavyweights as his influence. Influenced by Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, Usher and his late-great cousin, Roger Troutman of Zapp, Thompson’s sound is best described as “urban pop." Also, being influenced by some of today’s biggest songwriters, including The Clutch, Sean Garrett, Adonis, Johnta Austin, and Brian Michael-Cox, Thompson makes it a goal to be recognized not only as a singer, but an accomplished songwriter as well, already having worked with established acts/producers Master P, Romeo Miller, Melky Jean, Snoop, Tony Dofat, LT Hutton, Konvict Muzik, and more. Influenced by R&B, Soul, Pop, and dance, Thompson makes it a mission to bring his music into today’s challenging entertainment industry.

Thompson has ventured into acting, already being featured in nationally syndicated commercials/print ads (2009 Nike Hyperize, LG Electronics, the Spike Lee directed "Jay for a Day" RocaWear campaign, America's Next Great Restaurant, more) and upcoming movie releases. Laced with a distinctive sound, and signature catchy lyrics, Thompson sets to make himself a household name. With a fresh, new sound, and an equal talent in multiple skills, B. THOMPSON is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Recently, Thompson was featured on the French hit reality series "les anges de la téléréalité." There, he vocal arranged "Love Is What You Make Of It" song recorded by contestant, Maude Herchab.
