Born on June 15 1976 and raised on the West Side of Bridgeport CT in the P.T Barnum Housing Projects, Austin L. Carr who is the youngest of 3 children discovered his ability to sing at the age of 10 years old while being Influenced by the sounds of R&B & Pop. Austin is a Contemporary Gospel Singer/Songwriter/Producer. He had a lot of challenges and childhood battles. The everyday pressures of living in the projects .
In 2006 Austin was in a place of depression facing life’s struggles. At that time his mother Geraldine Allen came to him and made one powerful statement “Try Jesus For Yourself” Austin trusted in the direction of his mother and received Jesus Christ as his personal savior and was Filled with the Holy Ghost ! He has been learning how to fight spiritually while leaving the old man behind. He started ministering in song/praise & worship under the tutelage of Apostle Kelvin J. Newton at the Greater Works Deliverance International Ministries. A few years later, He was elevated to Elder and Shortly after Executive Pastor.
He continued to humble himself even when being afraid , by holding on to his favorite scripture, Luke 1:37 “For With God Nothing Shall Be Impossible” Here in 2018, Austin Carr, is pursuing a career in psalms, hymns and melodies unto The Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus our Lord. No matter the storm or struggle, “I will Bless the Lord at all times !
