About this artist

Sandra Cenecharl, also known as Sanavi is a bonafide summer bred Haitian descendant singer-songwriter from Miami. She's also a dancer, choreographer, and community activist who's embraced by her peers and the youth. Sanavi brought out her patriotic spirit singing the
National Anthem at the Miami Heat vs NY Knicks game at the American Airlines Arena, and for the Miami Dolphins Cancer Challenge which involved a 25-mile start bike ride for the cause.
Sanavi also was privileged to sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" known as the Black National Anthem at an empowering event illustrating the importance of education such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), featuring the daughters of Katherine Johnson whose life inspired the Oscar winning film Hidden Figures. Sanavi has opened for Lloyd and also sung background for Betty Wright, Mystikal, Kenny Lattimore, Jacki-O, JT Money, Ricco Barrino, and Urban Mystic. She is a 2020 Las Vegas Music Awards winner.
The foundation of the arts was not only greatly appreciated but was introduced in Sanavi's home early as a child as well as in her home church and that's what started her journey. She first became the student to the true definition of rhythm, enriched with her West Indies roots by learning to play drums.
Growing up, her talent got her accepted into a prestigious performing arts school: New World School of the Arts. Attending after school curricula activities at places like the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center influenced and motivated Sanavi in pursuit of developing a facility that not only creates an environment for the Haitian community to freely exercise their talents but also
create jobs to decrease the crime & violence rates in the country. In 2020, the advocate attended the Washington March in DC, peacefully protesting with everyone that believes in the power of justice, healing and the freedom to the Black community. It’s an ongoing fight today.
Her collaboration with artist/rapper, Javy on their new single entitled "Targeted" highlights the challenges we face as being black in America. Her newest single "This Feelin" is catching fire around the west coast bringing in summer vibes and intriguing new fans with expectation of wanting to hear more. Her next single called "Way Back" will debut September 22nd, 2023. Her latest singles "Best You've Never Met", “Perserverin’”, and "Euphoria" is available on all streaming platforms. Sanavi moved to LA to further expand her education, network, career, and experience in fine arts. Sanavi is an ambitious self-starter, whose journey will continue to blossom.
